From the hut, it takes 10 minutes to Brandriedel. From Brandriedel back to the Austriah\u00fctte, then down to the Brandalm with the mountaineering memorial and the Dachsteinkircherl, along the wide 5-H\u00fctten trail back to the T\u00fcrlwand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-6d83488e gb-headline-text\"><em>Styrian Bodensee<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lake Bodensee is a jewel in the heart of the region. The ideal starting point for hikes of all kinds: from family hikes around the lake to leisurely mountain tours. Along the way, slides, swings, climbing elements, ball tracks, a water world with a pond, and much more provide variety &#8211; you can experience all this in the middle of the beautiful natural landscape. A fantastic mountain landscape in the Schladminger Tauern picturesquely surrounds the mountain lake. Starting from the Eschachboden, the hiking trail leads upwards, steeply in places.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A circular hike variant would be: Eschachalm &#8211; Neualm &#8211; Duisitzkarsee &#8211; Eschachalm<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-1940da04 gb-headline-text\"><em>Giglachsee<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ursprungalm, 3.30 hours, 9.6 km, 350 vertical meters<br>The two Giglachseen lakes lie at the foot of the Lungauer and Steirische Kalkspitze peaks.\nThe easy hike from the Ursprungalm to the Giglachseen lakes is beautiful.\nYou can still find traces of the miners in the former mining area.    <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-3a1ebd0f gb-headline-text\"><em>Moaralmsee<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Haus im Ennstal, 3:30 hours, 7.8 km, 403 vertical meters<br>From the Tauern cable car mountain station, the route leads to the summit of the Hauser Kaibling and over the Rossfeldsattel to the turquoise Moaralmsee. This lies in magnificent high mountain scenery at the foot of the H\u00f6chstein. Take the same route back to the Rossfeldsattel, then return to the mountain station via the Kaiblingalm. There are various hiking options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-0b31c841 gb-headline-text\"><em>Silberkar Gorge<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ramsau am Dachstein, 2:30 hours, 4.8 km, 517 vertical meters<br>Waterfalls, vertical rock faces, and a wildly romantic gorge. Hike to the Silberkarh\u00fctte or the circular hiking trail gorge &#8211; Silberkarh\u00fctte &#8211; H\u00f6henweg (forest and root path) &#8211; starting point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-da32d763 gb-headline-text\"><em>Spiegelsee on the Reiteralm<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Reiteralm, 1:40 hours, 4.2 km, 284 vertical meters<br>The most popular photo motif in the Schladming-Dachstein region. From there, you can reach the B\u00e4rfallspitze in around 45 minutes and enjoy the wonderful panoramic view of the valley. The descent takes you to the Kaiblingalm and from there, you return to the mountain station via a leisurely forest path.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-97be44b3 gb-headline-text\"><em>Krahbergzinken<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Planai mountain station, 2.30 hours, 5.5 km, 380 m ascent and descent<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Follow the Planai panoramic circular trail to the crossroads at the Krahbergsattel. From there, behind the mountain station of the Mitterhaus cable car through the forest and then in somewhat steeper serpentines to the large Steinmandl. From there it&#8217;s just a few more hairpin bends to the summit. The transition from the pre-summit to the summit cross requires caution &#8211; but is well-secured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-6499f219 gb-headline-text\"><em>Jungfrauensteig<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ramsau am Dachstein, 4 hours, 8 km, 737 m ascent and descent<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A steep climb leads from Gasthaus Edelbrunn up to the &#8220;Steinerne Jungfrauen&#8221; &#8211; bizarre rock formations made of conglomerate rock &#8211; and on to Postkastl.\nThe trail turns at the rocks below the Gamsfeld and returns to the starting point via Brandriedel or Brandalm.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-8a71c18c gb-headline-text\"><em>High trail Hochwurzen &#8211; Giglachseen &#8211; Ursprungalm<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hochwurzen, approx. 7.5 hours, 13.46 km, ascent 821 vertical meters, descent 1,072 vertical meters<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This popular tour in the Schladminger Tauern leads from the Hochwurzen via the Guschen, Hochfeld, and Schiedeck peaks to the Brettersee lake and the Giglachseen lakes. From there, the ascent to the &#8220;Tor&#8221; begins, partly over scree fields. On the Pernerweg trail, the trail descends steeply for a short time, and at the foot of the Dachstein south face, you hike to the S\u00fcdwandh\u00fctte. Continue to the valley station of the glacier lift and back to the starting point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-f9c1b54e gb-headline-text\"><em>Hochwildstelle 2,747 m &#8211; highest, purely Styrian summit<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seewigtal, 8:00 hours, 14.83 km, 1630 vertical meters<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Starting from the Steirischer Bodensee, past the Hans-W\u00f6dl-H\u00fctte and the H\u00fcttensee and Obersee lakes, you hike via the Neualmscharte and Kleine Wildstelle to the summit.\nDescent as ascent or via the Preintalerh\u00fctte to the Riesachsee and into the Untertal.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-65c84ace gb-headline-text\"><em>H\u00f6chstein 2,543 m<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hauser Kaibling, 5:00 hours, 11 km, 850 vertical meters<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From the Tauern cable car mountain station via the summit of Hauser Kaibling. Summit ascent: via Seeschartl, Kaiblinglochscharte, Kaltenbachschulter, and Westgrat &#8211; steep, partly secured by ropes. <br>Descent: Filzscharte &#8211; Hans-W\u00f6dl-H\u00fctte &#8211; Steirischer Bodensee<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-6f5b38f0 gb-headline-text\"><em>Kings stage<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ramsau, 7:30 hours, 14.6 km, 1470 vertical meters<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The tour starts from a choice of several starting points via the L\u00e4rchbodenalm to the Guttenberghaus, along the Stein, and via the Silberkarh\u00fctte to the Fliegenpilz back down into the valley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-2833f5b1 gb-headline-text\"><em>King&#8217;s Tour Klafferkessel<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rohrmoos-Untertal, approx. 10 hours, 21.3 km, ascent and descent 1,579 vertical meters<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Starting from Almgasthaus Riesachfall, you hike to Gollingh\u00fctte, then steeply uphill to Greifenberg (2,618m). The first section is a steep descent over brittle terrain into the basin. Mosses, lichens, lakes, and rocks create the impression of a primeval landscape.
